Project: Welded Gas Pipe Work For A University In The South East

EMS ltd were approached by Saunders Specialised Services Ltd to supply and deliver a quantity of 12” NB welded pipe sections for their project at a University in the South East within the Energy Centre.

Qualifications Required:

• Welder Approvals to BS EN 9606-1:2017
• Weld Procedure Approvals to BS EN ISO 15613:2004 (BS EN ISO 15614-1:2017+A1:2019 Level 2)

Work Completed:

The sections were to hold Gas at low pressure, be incredibly accurate dimensionally to be able to fit within the required positions and within an existing set up.

Our team were able to manufacture all of the scalloping and setting the cross branches within high tolerance and accurately weld up all joints without heat distortion issues.

All parts were supplied and delivered and installed by our customer Saunders Specialised Services Ltd.
